In 7th grade he hollowed out a copy of James Harriet's All Things Wise and Wonderful, filled it with assorted candies, and sold them for lunch money; an operation that grew steadily until an unfortunate episode involving gravity and candy. From writing books at age 7 to creating new opportunities for making money or making friends, Dan has been making marketing magic.
